Spice Up Your Sites with Free Icons: Sometimes little details make a big difference. Try adding a dash of the icons linked above to your website or CULearn page. It won’t make CULearn an Illuminated manuscript, but it’s the same idea.
How to Find Words Quickly: Need to scour a webpage or program for a given word? In most browsers and programs, hitting “Ctrl + F” (PC) or “Command + F” (Mac) opens a small search box in which you can type your search term(s). Click the link above for more handy shortcuts.
Try Tabbed Browsing: Most web browsers worth their salt allow you to open new tabs within a browser window, thus reducing desktop clutter. On the PC, you can normally hit “Ctrl + T” to open a new tab, whereas on the Mac “Command + T” gets you a new tab.
Soup Up Your Searches: Google’s search bar has some nifty special features. For example, typing “define: sussurate” will return the definition of the word “sussurate”. Entering “related: www.cnn.com” will find sites similar to CNN.com. Click the link above for more options.
